Ruth Ann Morrow

Ruth Ann Morrow, 84 of New Lebanon, passed away on October 25, 2021 at her home. Ruth was born in Rouseville on August 9, 1937 to the late Lawrence and Orpha Cherry. She worked for many years and retired from Dietary at Polk Center. Ruth enjoyed going on drives and being outside in the sun. She always enjoyed family picnics and going swimming. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth married her beloved husband, Donald B. “Skinny” Morrow on June 10, 1957, he preceded her in death on March 16, 1999. Ruth is survived by her children, William “Bill” Morrow of Sandy Lake, James Michael Morrow of Greenville, and Diane Rhodes and husband James of Sandy Lake, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Rita Toy of Titusville. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her son Donald Morrow, and three sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 12 pm – 2 pm on Thursday, October 28. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm with the Rev. Virginia Lavan-Gadsby, officitating. Interment will take place in New Lebanon Cemetery.
