Ruth B. Aldrich

Ruth B. Aldrich, 83, 380 Park Ave., died Saturday, January 3, 1987, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born in Perry, NY, October 6, 1903, a daughter of Orlando M. and Agnes Mae Gordon Baker. She married Stanley B. Aldrich, former president of Northwest Bank of Pennsylvania, now Mellon Bank North. He died January 24, 1963. Mrs. Aldrich graduated from Wellsley College and taught seventh grade for several years in Meadville schools. She was the president of Hillside Home board of directors; served on the board of directors for Meadville Public Library; was a member of Meadville Garden Club; and was an associate member of the Iroquois Club and the Country Club of Meadville. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Aldrich of Meadville; a son, James B. Aldrich of Radnor; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services were held with Rev. David Hosick, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Meadville Interment was in Greendale Cemetery. Services Past Services
