Ruth B. Dumars

Miss Ruth B. DuMars, of Meadville, died Wednesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. G. DeMaison, after an illness of several weeks.

Miss DeMars, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. W. DuMars, spent her early life in Kennard but had lived in Meadville the past 15 years, for 12 years having been an employee of the John J. Shryrock Co.  She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, of the Meadville WCTU, and was treasurer of the Crawford County WCTU.  Miss DuMars was an active member, also of the Home Decorators Guild.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. DeMaison, Mrs. James Bean and Mrs. J. V. Brown, the last two of Kennard and a brother, J. T. Reed of Greenville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
