Ruth Fietta Maurer

Ruth Fietta Maurer, 91, formerly of Rt. 27 Meadville and a resident of Hillside Home since February 1999 died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born May 10, 1913 in Meadville a daughter of Wallace K. and Blanche F. Harvey Foulk.  She married Elvin E. Maurer December 14, 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She retired as a caseworker in the Meadville office of the PA Dept. of Public Assistance.

Survivors, include one son, Jan L. Maurer and his wife Joanne of State College, PA; two grandchildren, Linda O’Shell and Marcia Maurer and one brother, James W. Foulk.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
