Ruth J. Hills

Ruth J. Hills, 72, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 15, 2019.

She was born July 12, 1947 in Atlanta, GA, a daughter of Clifford and Esther Wunder Wilfong.  She married Steven N. Hills January 11, 1969 and he survives.

Ruth was a 1965 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School.  A homemaker, she enjoyed flower arranging and loved her convertible.

Ruth was a member of First Christian Church where she formerly served as church secretary.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Steven, include a son Christopher N. Hills of Meadville; three grandchildren, Ashley Skeens, Jeffrey Hills and Matthew Hills; two nieces, Jackie Ober and Jill Falkoski; and a nephew, Joe Ober.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Wilfong Ober.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 6th from 10-11 a.m. at First Christian Church, 503 N. Main St. Ext., Meadville where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
