Ruth Terrill

Mrs. Ruth Terrill, 76, of Meadville, wife of Charles Terrill, died at City Hospital, Monday, May 27, 1974, after an extended illness.

A daughter of Arthur C. and Charlotte Ewing Ash, she was born in Meadville February 16, 1898.  She married Douglas Barr, November 18, 1918.  He died in October 1940.  She subsequently married Charles W. Terrill in July 1950.

She was a member of Park Congregational Church and Kiser Hill Grange.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Wilford (Hester) Terrill of Meadville and Mrs. George (Charlotte) Scott of Conneaut Lake; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Aldrich of Venice, FL; a stepson, LaVern Terrill Kennedy, NY; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Carpenter of Meadville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
