S. Edith Walker

S. Edith Walker, 73, of Meadville, died Monday, April 2, 1990, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born in Indiana, May 30, 1916, a daughter of Robert H. and Bertha A. Liester Buterbaugh.  She married Milton W. Walker August 2, 1941.  He survives.

She was employed by Meadville Buick Co. and later by Channellock.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had attended two years of college.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Larry B. Walker of Cransville and Randy B. Walker of Meadville;  two sisters, Beula Buterbaugh of Clymer and Viola Shank of Cleveland, OH; several nieces and nephews and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and James Buterbaugh.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
