S. Frederick Gaub

S. Frederick Gaub, 60, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, February 22, 1975, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Meadville, May 27, 1914, son of George W. and Hilda Prinzler Gaub.  He married Hazel Williams September 6, 1941.  He was employed for 15 years at Channellock, Inc. from where he took disability retirement in May 1974.  He formerly was employed with Westinghouse in Meadville for nine years.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Karan) Snyder of Willow Grove and Miss Terry Ann Gaub, a senior at Slippery Rock State College; three sisters, Miss Katherine and Miss Anna Gaub of Meadville and Mrs. William (Margaret) Simonsen of Erie; two brothers, John and Daniel of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
