S. Patricia West

S. Patricia West, 91, a resident of the Crawford County Care Center since June 2013, died there Monday, September 19, 2016. She was born September 15, 1925 in Meadville a daughter of Carl and Bertha Melvin Grubaugh. She married Burton L. West March 19, 1947 and he preceded her in death June 14, 1999. She attended Meadville High School and earned her G.E.D. several years later. She owned and operated Grannys Curiosity Shop on Park Avenue in the 1970s. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie A. Wentz on July 12, 2016. Services will be private.
