Sadie Smock Hamilton

January 7, 1873 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Sadie Smock Hamilton, 67, widow of the late Nathaniel Hamilton, died Saturday morning at her home in East Mead Township after an illness of three weeks.

She was born in Union Township, but had resided in East Mead since her marriage.  Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Wayland Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Arthur W. at home and Clarence R. of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs.John Leighty and Mrs. John Deissler, both of Meadville and Mrs. Walter Onspaugh of Woodcock; two brothers, Frank Smock and Smith Smock of Meadville; a half-brother, William Montgomery of California and a grandson, Robert Gordon Hamilton of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
