Sam Harlen Delp

Sam Harlen Delp, 38, of Hawthorne, FL, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018.

He was born April 12, 1980 in Meadville, a son of Harold and Zenobia Lindstrom Delp.

Sam was a 1998 graduate of Maplewood High School.  He enjoyed fishing, nature walks, being outdoors and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include a daughter, Kaitlynn Wolfe-Delp of Titusville; four brothers, Conrad (Boyd) Delp of Guys Mills, Keith Delp of Titusville, Doug Delp (Sherry) of Clintonville, and Mathew Lindstrom of Guys Mills; five sisters, Cindy Williams of Conneaut Lake, Judi Barron (Eddie) of Guys Mills, Laurie Brawley (Bill) of Meadville, Nicola Delp of Hawthorne, FL, and Zenobia Delp (Delmer) of Cochranton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Delp and Alan Lindstrom and three sisters, Margaret Saxton, Cheryl Messersmith, and Deborah Delp.

A celebration of Sam’s life will be held Saturday, January 12th at 5:00 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
