Samuel T. Starrett

Samuel T. Starrett, 94, a patient at Rolling Fields Nursing Home, Conneautville, died Friday, March 25, 1988, at the nursing home following a period of failing health.

Mr. Starrett was born in Darby, July 11, 1893, a son of Ernest and Mary Walsh Starrett.  He married Mildred L. Snyder December 24, 1934.  She preceded him in death, January 18, 1975.

He had been employed as an electrical engineer at the former American Viscose Corp.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Meadville, and Dick Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Winchell of Honolulu, HI, Katherne Bertram of Lake Placid, NY and Mrs. E. J. Snyder of Swarthmore and one brother, Frank Starrett of Cape Main, NJ.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
