Sandra Lee (Amon) Hoffman

Sandra Lee (Amon) Hoffman, 79 of Grove City, passed away on February 11, 2023 at QLS – Mercer. Sandra was born at the family farm in Worth Twp on September 13, 1943 to the late Frank and Evelyn (Kilgore) Amon. She was a 1961 graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Clarion State College in 1965. She worked in education for many years, mostly library science, in Albion, PA, Vallejo, California, Pocatello, Idaho, Indiana, PA, George Junior Republic, and retired from New Castle School District tutoring students for their GED.

Sandra was a Christian by faith and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and a member of a book club in Grove City. She enjoyed volunteering for the Sandy Lake Public Library. She also enjoyed antiques, genealogy, and auctions.

Sandra is survived by her son: Tony Lee (Gwen) Nosker of Hendersonville, grandchildren: Dominick, Gabrielle “Gabby”, and Bailey, sister: Barbara (Gary) DiDay of Stoneboro, special friend: Robert Lenhart, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her great-nephew: Brandon McConnell, and the father of her son: Rodney Nosker.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral home & Crematory, Inc, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where visitation will take place from 4 pm – 7 pm on Wednesday, February 15.

Interment will be private
