Sandra "Sandy" Foster

Sandra “Sandy” Foster, 78, of Carlton, passed away on December 3, 2021 at UPMC Hamot with her family by her side. Sandy was born on July 11, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, to the late John and Edith (Hayes) Graham. Sandy married her beloved husband Richard “Dick” Foster on Aug. 22, 1964, he preceded her in death on January 6, 2020. Sandy was a member of Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon, an Elder, and coordinated Vacation Bible School many times. She enjoyed crafting, doing ceramics, sewing, and researching genealogy. She enjoyed visiting many thrift stores and going to garage sales. She also enjoyed going on road trips with her family. Surviving are her children: Craig Foster, and his wife, Lisa, of Union Grove, AL, Jacqueline A. Foster, of Harrisburg, PA, Stan Foster, and his wife, Beth, of New Lebanon, and Bradley Foster and wife Samantha of Grove City; her grandchildren: Kahle and wife Kiya, Connor and wife Hayley, Cameron and companion Brittany, Lindsey and companion Dustin, Hailee and husband Tim, and Nick; her great-grandchildren: Myla, Tucker, Bryar, Scout, and Oaklee; brother Jeffrey Graham and his wife, Kris, of Waterloo, IA; a sister, Penny Graham, of Topeka, KS; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Sandy was preceded in death by an infant son Richard Lee Foster. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 4 -7 pm Monday, December 6. A funeral service will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, December 7, at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
