Sandra "Sandy" L. Osborn

Sandra L. “Sandy” Osborn, 83 of Stoneboro, passed away at 12:18 PM at the Grove City Medical Center on March 25, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1934 in Stoneboro to the late Elliott Emerson and Elfie Blanche Moon McClearn. She was a 1952 graduate of Stoneboro High School. She worked as an office manager for several years at different automotive dealerships. She married her husband, Clarence R. Osborn in April of 1965, he preceded her in death on November 4, 2012. Sandy was protestant by faith. Sandy loved to collect owls and teapots. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly and loved shopping for them. She loved to host and attend family gatherings and always went all out for Christmas. Her Christmas Eve tradition was always to have a family gathering and serve pizza. She also enjoyed watching the news on repeat, especially CNN. Sandy is survived by her children, Howard Davis and wife Kathy of Yucaipa, CA, Roger Osborn of Barstow, CA, Steve Osborn and wife Teresa of Genoa, OH, and Terry Walker of Stoneboro, sister Carolyn Alexander and husband Bill of Fairview Twp, Mercer, brother Elliott E. “John” McClearn and wife Paula of Wheeling, WV, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Sandy was preceded in death by her sister Roberta Pearce and brother-in-law Henry Pearce. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 1 pm until 2 pm on Friday, March 30. A service will take place in the funeral home at 2 pm on Friday, March 30, with the Reverend Janet R. Pratt, Pastor of Methodists United In Faith, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
