Sarah Britton

Mrs. Sarah Britton, 90, widow of Archie K. Britton who died June 19, 1958, formerly of Meadville, died Sunday, May 14, 1978, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) Grace in East Norwalk, Conn., with whom she had lived for the past three years.

She was born in Nelson, MO, February 25, 1888, a daughter of William and Vena Russell McMahan.  She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Meadville and was a member of Northwest Commandery, Knights Templar, Aux.

In addition to her daughter, survivors include three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held a Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
