Sarah E. Henderson

Mrs. Sarah E. Henderson, 84, widow of Robert L. Henderson, died Monday, at City Hospital shortly after becoming a patient there.  She had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd G. Spencer.

She was a daughter of Frank and Margaret Culp Belsar and spent her early life in Allegheny County where she attended the Jenny Lind School.   She moved to Meadville about 35 years ago and was a custodian at Meadville High School for 20 years.  She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and an honorary life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service.  She was a member of Meadville Grange and Myrtle Rebekah Lodge 60.

Surviving besides the daughter are a son, Clifford J. Henderson of Meadville; three grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hollis of McKeesport and Mrs. Miller Gilbert of Greenoch, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
