Saralee (Sara) Belohlavek, aged 84, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. As co-owner and founder of Pittsburgh Floral Academy, Sara was known for her love of flowers and for training others that shared her passion for floral design.
Born Saralee Crosby Blair, she was the daughter of Charles and Bertha Blair. She is preceded in death by husband Frank W Belohlavek (2013). She is survived by her daughter Holly L Walter (Ed) and son Jon S Blair (Rick) and three grandchildren: Joshua (Katelyn), Logan, and Ed. She was stepmother to the late Dawn Campbell (Richard) and of Tracey Salsi (Scott) and Bruce Belohlavek (Melissa) and step grandmother to Ashley and Kayley. She has one surviving brother, Frank Blair (Carolyn). Sara is also survived by several close friends that she loved dearly.
Her family would like to express gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and her hospice care team at Three Rivers Hospice. A private interment ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family at Calvary United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh, PA
