Scott C. Campbell, 63, of Conneaut Lake died Tuesday, September 27, 2016.
He was born December 5, 1953 in Meadville a son of Glenn and Masie Campbell. He was a 1972 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. He worked as a handyman in the Conneaut Lake area and most recently harvested seaweed from Conneaut Lake earning the nickname “Captain Seaweed.” He was an avid golfer and owned a number of holes-in-one.
He was a character and will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Conneaut Lake will never be the same without him. He was a lover of the arts. His most recent performance was performing as a dancing toad named Huppletickhoo for Florida Performing Arts. Earning rave reviews.
He is survived by his mother Masie Campbell in Kill Devil Hills, NC; two brothers, Chris Campbell also in Kill Devil Hills, NC and John Campbell in New Bern, NC and a nephew, Ian Campbell in San Antonio, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Monday from 1-3 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road.
