Scott E. Knox

Scott E. Knox, 32, of 26582 Guys Mills Rd., Meadville, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at his residence.

He was born in Meadville August 7, 1976, a son of Gary and Pam Rambo Knox.

He was a graduate of the Grove City School District and was self-employed as owner and operator of Knox Tree Service.  He enjoyed being outdoors, doing welding, fabricating, and mechanical work and fixing almost anything.

He attended First Church of God, Meadville.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Pam Knox of Guys Mills; his fiancé Gina Ray and her children Alexis, Anthony, Issac, and Alex of Meadville; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Gladys Rambo of Guys Mills; 3 sisters, Myranda Hyden and her husband Trey of Blooming Valley; Desiree Parknow of Blooming Valley; and Debbie Hicks and her husband Jeffrey of Hillsborough, NC; a brother, Paul Knox of Meadville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and 3 nephews, and 2 nieces.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Ruth Parknow and George and Jeanne Knox.

Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Revs. Harold Ferraro and Temple Jarrell, Pastors officiating.

Interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
