Sean Anthony Catalano

Sean Anthony Catalano, 28, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

He was born November 10, 1989 in Meadville, a son of Brian Catalano and Connie Clayton Mahoney.

Sean was a 2007 graduate of Saegertown High School where he was a member of the Panther football team.  He worked as a machinist at Canto Tool in Meadville and previously worked at Acutec in Saegertown.  Sean’s focus was his family and he was very proud of his children.

Survivors include his father, Brian Catalano (Patricia) of Meadville; his mother, Connie Mahoney (Mark) of Meadville; a daughter, Carmen Catalano; a son, Dominic Catalano; his children’s mother, Alisha Hornstein; a sister, Vanessa Catalano (Michael Shoop) of Saegertown; maternal grandfather, Richard S. Clayton; paternal grandmother, Joyce Catalano; two nieces and one nephew, Natalie, Zachary, and Mallory Slee; five step-brothers, Jared Mahoney (Mandie), Marcus Mahoney (Cira), Rory Mahoney (Jaclyn), Allen Fultz, and Aaron Fultz; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna Clayton and his paternal grandfather, Robert Anthony Catalano.

Calling hours will be Thursday, April 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Darrell Greenawalt, Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating.
