Shirley A. Gable

Shirley A. Gable, 64, of 11022 Townline Rd., Meadville, died Friday, February 3, 2006 at Beverly Healthcare, Meadville.

She was born in Meadville April 4, 1941, a daughter of the late James R. and Florence Jablonski Gable.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School and had worked at Andover Industries and National Teltronics.  She formerly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

She was affiliated with St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include 3 uncles, Edward Gable and his wife Lucille, Charlie Gable, and Arthur Gable and his wife Nancy, all of Meadville; 5 aunts, Bertha Strausser, Annabell Gable, Margaret Benak and Dorothy Hargenrader and her husband Donald, all of Meadville; and Ethel Luzier of Guys Mills; and numerous cousins including Wilma “Billie” Morrow of Seffner, FL.

Calling hour will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Richard Allen of St. Agatha Church officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
