Shirley A. Smith

Shirley A. Smith, 77, of Meadville, died at home Saturday, December 23, 2000, after a period of declining health.

Born in Meadville, October 10, 1923, she was a daughter of Theodore and Hazel Hunter Smith.

A graduate of Meadville High School, she was employed for nine years with the Kroger Co., and for 13 years with the A & P Co.  She retired in 1967.

She was a member of the American Legion Aux., Charles Stafford Post 111.  In her younger years, she particularly enjoyed fishing.

Cousins are her only survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
