Shirley Doyle Beach

Shirley Doyle Beach of Raleigh NC was called home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2022.

She was born on July 3, 1929 to Broderick George Doyle and Mary Ellen Counselman in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Sandy Lake High School in 1947.  On August 26th, 1950 she was united in marriage to John R. Beach in Franklin, Pennsylvania.  They moved to Ohio where she eventually worked as an inspector at GM Lordstown for 27 years. She was an avid reader of Christian doctrine and was also an ordained minister in the First Church of God, Newton Falls, Ohio.  She mostly devoted her ministry to children.  She currently attended the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Raleigh.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include 3 daughters, Mary B. DeLuca, (Richard) Mequon,Wisconsin, Debra B. Harvell (Smitty) and Patricia B. Gray, both of Raleigh, N.C., 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind two brothers, Norman Doyle and David Doyle, and two sisters, Emma Findley (Doyle), and Gloria Jean Doyle.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Beach, her two sons, Mark R. Beach and Bryan J. Beach, 3 brothers Broderick George Doyle, Donald James Doyle and Richard (Dick) Doyle and one sister, Bonita Rose Harsh (Doyle), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The private graveside service will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The Rose and Black Funeral Home have been entrusted with Shirley’s arrangements.
