Sophia Greer

Mrs. Sophia Greer, 70, formerly of Meadville, died Monday, April 27, 1970, at Warren State Hospital where she had been a patient for several years.

She was born at Mound Bayou, MS, December 25, 1899, a daughter of Joseph and Alice Nunn Randall.  While living in Meadville she attended St. John's Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Darling of Cincinnati, OH and Mrs. Ceola Warner of Jersey City, NJ; a sister, Mrs. Delaney Johnson of Meadville; a brother, Joseph Randall, Jr. of Meadville.  She also is survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Jersey City and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
