Sophy L. Swisher

Following an illness of five weeks' duration, Mrs. O. P. Swisher, 97, passed away Monday evening at the home of her son, Rev. Dr. Lloyd L. Swisher, of Meadville.  She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church of Oil City.

Besides Dr. Swisher, with whom she made her home, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Lupold of Pittsburgh; a son, Harry W. P. Swisher of Oil City; a sister, Mrs. W. H. Hinton of Berberton, OH; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A son, Paul W. Swisher of Mannington, WV, died only last week.

Services were held with Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City.
