Stanley A. Baker, 81, of Blooming Valley, died Saturday, March 7, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born in Dodridge County, WV, on April 11, 1905, a son of William Randolph and Hattie Bevelin Baker. He married Grace E. Mick, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Baker was retired from his job as owner-operator of the Albin Grocery Store in Winchester, VA. He previously was self-employed as a dairy farmer in the Corry area. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Center Point, WV.
Survivors include two sons, William W. Baker of Blooming Valley and Denver D. Baker of West Point, MS; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Duncan of Oakmont; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, three brothers, three sisters, and a grandchild.
Interment was in Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL.
