Stanley E. David

Stanley E. David, 73, of Meadville, was dead on arrival at Spencer Hospital early Sunday morning, March 20, 1977, after a brief illness.

He was born in Natrona, May 17, 1903, son of Frank and Mary Ann Jerome David.  He married Verna Clarke, March 31, 1928.  Mr. David retired from Talon Division of Textron in 1968 where he had been manager of the Plastizip department.  He had been employed by Talon for 35 years.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and of Meadville Elks Lodge.  He had been an avid golfer.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Clarke E. David of Houston, TX; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Simon of Chicago, Mrs. Blanche Strong of Holiday, FL, Mrs. Alice Rankin of Staunton, VA and Mrs. Irene Morgan of Youngstown, OH; and three grandchildren.  One son, Bruce, preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
