Stanley H. Wasson

Stanley H. Wasson, 77, of Meadville, died at Meadville City Hospital Sunday March 2, 1975, following an illness of several months.

She was born in Hayfield Township, December 19, 1897, a son of H. Clinton and C. Maude Stanley Wasson.  He married Malvena McNamara in 1919.  Mr. Wasson retired in 1962 as a general foreman for Pennsylvania Electric Co.  He was a member of First Baptist Church and its men's Bible class; the Masonic Lodge 408 and of Cussewago Lodge, IOOF.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Geoffrey (Evelyn) Farnum of Boston; three sons, Lorance S. of Meadville, William C. of North Kingsville, OH and Jack H. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Peters of Cleveland and Miss Laura Wasson of Meadville; a brother, H. Carl Wasson of Franklin; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
