Stephen D. Jeannerett

Stephen D. Jeannerett, 45, of Saegertown, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Meadville July 24, 1965, a son of Dennis W. and Judy Bisbee Jeannerett.  He married Karen Eckart August 1, 1987.

Stephen was a 1983 graduate of Saegertown High School.  He was employed as a nickel plater for 25 years at Progress For Industry, Saegertown.  He was a member of American Legion Post 205, Saegertown and had formerly been active in the Sertoma softball league.  He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, and he especially enjoyed supporting his children's sporting events.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Karen of 23 years, include a son, Kyle Jeannerett and a daughter, Katie Jeannerett, both at home; his mother, Judy Jeannerett of Conneautville; a sister, Cindy Samuels and her husband Mike of Conneautville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Susan Jeannerett.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral and committal service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Custer, Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Denny Cemetery.
