Steuart D. Hall

Steuart D. Hall, 89, of Meadville (Vernon Township), passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born October 16, 1933 in Geneva, PA, a son of Patterson and Bernice “Daisy” Hirt Hall.  He has been married to Arvide Ann Jayne for the past 12 years.

Steuart was a 1952 graduate of Jamestown High School and was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955.  He worked at Hodges Foundry, Greenville and retired as a tank supervisor at PPG following 25 years of service.

Steuart was a member of Linesville VFW Post 7842 and he enjoyed playing in Dart leagues throughout the area.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Arvide, include three sons, Carson Hall (Cathy), Pat Hall (Yvonne), and Brett Hall; three stepchildren, Christy McMath (Tom), Cathi Sansone (Jim), and Mike Richards (Kris); two grandsons, Weston and Jonathon Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepson, Mark Richards; four sisters, Helen Waight, Ursela Probst, Leola Cuthbert, and Naomi Cornell; and two brothers, Fred and Bernard Hall.

Calling hours will be Thursday, December 15th from 1-3 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where the funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dustin Heath, Meadville Medical Center Chaplain, officiating.  Military honors will follow.
