Stuart Randy Turner

Stuart Randy Turner, 62, of Meadville died at home surrounded by family, Saturday, April 18. 2020.

He was born on Long Island, NY September 6, 1957 a son of Stuart Turner and Hazel S. Porfilio Turner Steele.  He was a 1975 graduate of Meadville High School and worked for several area businesses over the years, including Sears, Seifert’s Furniture, Red Lobster and The Villa Restaurant in Cambridge Springs.

He was an avid reader and fisherman, enjoyed writing and loved animals.  He especially enjoyed spending time with family and his many good friends.

He is survived by a son, Jacob Fichtner (companion, Elise Hunter) of Florida; two sisters, Lynne DeVore of Meadville and Sherri Turner of Euclid, OH; an aunt, Margaret (Peg) McHale (Patrick) of Meadville and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Devin DeVore and two aunts, Rosalie Porfilio and Mary Cross.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Crawford County for the wonderful care given to Randy.

Private services will be held by the family.
