Susan J. Luty

Susan J. Luty, age 72, of Meadville, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Crawford Care Center.

Susan was a 1969 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School in Pittsburgh and a 1973 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She married Patrick Boyle on January 24, 1981. Their children are Brian Patrick and Adam Nicklaus. During her career, she worked at McGill, Power, Bell & Associates and Dad’s Dog Food/Ainsworth and also did financial software consulting. In addition, Susan was involved in the Meadville Council on the Arts.

Susan loved the ocean, collecting seashells, playing cards (especially 500 Bid), the Pittsburgh Pirates & Steelers, waterskiing and getting together with college friends. She loved simply enjoying the dock and front porch of the family cottage at Conneaut Lake.

Susan is survived by her sons Brian and Adam, her sisters Mary Anne Luty and Julia Luty Catalano and her niece Erin Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents Anne Kane Luty and Bronson (Bee) Luty.

Arrangements are under the care of ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd, Conneaut Lake. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
