Susan Lee Moyers, 81, of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Oil City, May 19, 1928 a daughter of Harry and Ethel Lee Vaughn. She married Louis Moyers September 24, 1949 and he survives.
She was a 1948 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. She was an excellent homemaker, was very devoted to her family and she enjoyed sewing, her house plants and spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs. Previously, she had also worked briefly at Talon Inc.
Survivors, in addition to her husband Louis of 60 years, include: two sons, Jack Moyers and his wife Janet of Conneaut Lake and Jeffery Moyers and his wife Suzan of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren, Jason Moyers and his wife Melissa of Erie and Jacquelyn Moyers of Conneaut Lake; a great grandson, Rowyn Moyers; a step-brother, George Sousae in California and several nieces and nephews. She was also a special great grandmother to Alivia Coleccia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Klingensmith and Virginia Lee Hicks.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Mills, Pastor of Conneaut Lake Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
