Susan Mary Rodgers

Susan M. Rodgers, 75, of Jackson Center, passed away at AHN Grove City on March 8, 2025. Susan was born to Rose Stark and George Martin Bukouski on November 25, 1949. Susan graduated from Burton High School in Ohio.

Susan married the love of her life, Raymond Rodgers, on October 14, 2017. He survives at home.

Susan was a long time member of the Lakeview Area Community Church. She was a member of the Daughters of Rebekah—Odd Fellows Sandy Lake Lodge. Susan also spent time working at Kennametal. Her biggest joys were found with her family, playing cards or going to get-togethers and holidays. Ray and Susan would never miss a chance to babysit their grandkids or great-grandkids. Susan would also never miss seeing her daughters ride horses or seeing her grandkids sporting events.

Susan is survived by her husband, and her children, Shelley (Stanley Babic) Workman; Robbie (Casey) Pfleger; Erika (John) Harford; Derek (Heather) Pfleger; Jaime (Allen) Byler; and her daughter-in-law Joisanne Rodgers. Susan is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kay Baker, as well as fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way. Susan leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins to cherish her memory.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Bukouski.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. Calling hours will be held from 11AM to 1PM on March 14, at the Lakeview Area Community Church, 1472 School Rd. Sandy Lake, PA 16145. A funeral service will follow at 1PM, started by a service from the Odd Fellows. The funeral service will be officiated by Earl Dykes.
