Susan A. (Zuccaro) Vander Veen

Susan A. Vander Veen, 78, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018.

She was born April 30, 1940 in Meadville, a daughter of Salvatore and Ethel Barb Zuccaro.  She had been married to Donald Vander Veen.

Susan was a graduate of Meadville High School. She loved cooking and was owner and operator of The Pizza Parlor and Sue’s Café, and later worked at King’s Family Restaurant.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Church.

Survivors include a son, Craig Vander Veen (Doreen Lynn) of Meadville; two grandchildren, Olivia Rose and Raven Lynn; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Keith and Kevin Vander Veen; a sister, Barbara Hogan; and her twin brother, Steven Zuccaro.

Services are private.
