Susannah B. Evan

Mrs. Susannah B. Evans, 73, wife of Calvin Evans, of Meadville, died at her residence Saturday, February 16, 1985.

She was born at Sandy Lake, October 31, 1911, a daughter of Charles and Pearl Waid Barnhart.  She married Leonard McConnell, who predeceased her.  She subsequently married Calvin Evans in 1973, who survives.

She was an employee of Talon, Inc. for 40 years and was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are a son, Brian McConnell of Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rung of Meadville; one niece and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakview Cemetery.
