Suzanne L. Gerard

Suzanne L. Gerard, 63 of N. Main Street, Meadville passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 25, 1961, a daughter of Walter and Ruth (McElwain) Swieconek. Suzie was a 1979 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School. On October 10, 1984, Suzanne married Bud Gerard, he survives. She was a scan coordinator at Tops Market for 17 years. Suzie loved going to the beach and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband of 40 years, she is survived by four daughters, Jill, Heather, and Amanda Gerard, Sarah Wescott and her husband Cory all of Meadville. Three grandchildren, Mkenna Gerard, Caleb and Owen Wescott. One sister, Sharon Volosky and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Kathleen Glikes.

Family and Friend’s will be received on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:45.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rose and Waid Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
