Mrs. Sylvia J. Collins, 92, formerly of Townville and Bradleytown, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, since January 1979, died at Wesbury, Monday, October 7, 1985 after a long illness.
Mrs. Collins was born at Donation Hill, May 29, 1893, a daughter of John S. and Emma Goodwin Wright. She married Clarence Glenn Collins, April 6, 1916, who preceded her in death, January 12, 1975. She was a member of Townville United Methodist Church, a graduate of Cooperstown High School and a 50-year member of Sugar Creek Grange.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clair (Genevieve) Neff of Meadville, Mrs. Gladys Manning of Franklin and Mrs. Glenn (Isobel) Yates of Sandy Lake; a son, Hazen F. Collins of Townville; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
