Terri Lynn Hosick

Terri Lynn Hosick, 45, of 537 Lord St., Meadville, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Youngstown, OH August 27, 1959, a daughter of Robert K. and Cecelia J. Schuler Marsteller.  She married Edward Hosick, III August 27, 1982.

She was a 1977 graduate of Meadville High School and a 1981 graduate of Penn State Univ. with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.  She worked for 9 years as the trauma coordinator for burns and child abuse at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC.  She was a homemaker and former volunteer coordinator at the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston.

She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church and was active in various prayer groups.

She was a volunteer at Seton Catholic School for several years.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing board games, trivia, was an avid reader, and loved her dog Sam.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 22 years, include 2 sons, Jeremy Michael and Matthew Ryan Hosick, both at home; her parents, Robert K. and Cecelia J. Marsteller of Meadville; a sister, Sherri A. Alexander and her husband Jeff of Meadville; 4 brothers, Robert M. Marsteller and his wife Sharon of Dauphin, PA; Larry D. Marsteller of Meadville; Bradley J. Marsteller and his wife Erin of Bethel Park; and David N. Marsteller and his wife Kim of Meadville; 16 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with a scripture prayer service at 8:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville with the Rev. Richard Allen and Rev. Mark Hoffman as Celebrants.

Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery.
