Thelma Snyder

Mrs. Thelma Snyder, 69, of Meadville, died Monday, May 26, 1969, at City Hospital.

She was born at Franklin November 9, 1899, a daughter of David E. and Nellie Brown Rossman.  She married Mr. Snyder June 9, 1920.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of the following organizations:

City Hospital Advisory Board, Meadville Woman's Club and its literary and garden divisions, the Philo-Mathesian Literary Club, Woman's Literary Club, Meadville Fine Arts Assn., Col. Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a former member of the YWCA board of directors.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, V. Lynn Snyder of Meadville; two brothers, George R. Rossman of Houston, TX and Floyd C. Rossman of Port Arthur, TX and two grandchildren, Carol Lynn and Frederick Sherman Snyder, both of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
