Theodore “Ted” Conrad Haller, 91 of Stoneboro, passed away on November 26, 2023 at his home. Ted was born in Fredonia on July 26, 1932 to the late John and Elsie (Zimmer) Haller. He was a 1950 graduate of Fredonia-Delaware High School and went on to work as a Coil Winder at Sharon Westinghouse. He also worked for Kopta Excavating for many years and then became a consultant for Westinghouse for several years.
Ted was a previous member of the Stoneboro Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed reading western novels and going fishing. He particularly enjoyed taking care of his lawn. Ted proudly served his Country in the United States Army.
Ted married his beloved wife, Marian I. (Kopta) Haller on May 22, 1953, she preceded him in death on January 16, 2018.
Ted is survived by his children: Susan (Jeff) King of Utica; and Michael Haller of Stoneboro, grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Dadoo”: Heather Neal; Michael Marshall; Anthony Marshall; and April (Zach) Kosslow, great-grandchildren: Sydney Marshall; Cameron Marshall; Colton Kosslow; and Cora Kosslow.
In addition to his wife and parents, Ted was preceded in death by his daughter: Becky Neal, two brothers, and 1 sister.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. – Stoneboro.
Funeral services will be private.
Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
