Theresa C. Hershelman

Theresa C. Hershelman, 85, of Meadville passed away after an extended illness, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Rolling Fields. Theresa was born March 29, 1933 in Meadville a daughter of Earl and Alice Waid Ellis. She was a graduate of what is now Bethesda Childrens Home. After graduation, she worked at the Singer Co. in Meadville. On September 12, 1953 she married Harold P. Hershelman. They had thirty seven years of marriage. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. Theresa loved square dancing and was a wonderful seamstress and quilter. She also enjoyed baking for her family, baseball, especially her Cleveland Indians and her cat, Coonie and dog, Molly. Theresa is survived by five children, Linda F. Brown (Ned) of Meadville, Thomas E. Hershelman of Conneaut Lake, Joel H. Hershelman of Meadville, Robert P. Hershelman of Meadville and Sylvia A. Hershelman (Robert) of Meadville; four grandchildren, Sean C. Brown (Tiffany) of Colorado Springs, Shannon Baron (Alex) of Meadville, Kaylyn Hershelman of Conneaut Lake and Wesley Hershelman (Susie) of Pittsburgh and an adopted sister, Janet Bidwell (Gary) of Meadville and several cousins. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by several infant siblings. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Rolling Fields who made her short stay so pleasurable. Private family services will be held with the Rev. Jamie Husselton, Pastor of French Creek Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W.
