Theresa Chismar

Theresa Chismar, 88, of Saegertown, died at Meadville Medical Center Saturday, December 5, 1992, after a brief illness.

She was born in Gyor, Hungary, March 12, 1904, a daughter of Sandor and Anna (Bodgdan) Gyori.  She married Frank C. Chismar August 4, 1949.  He preceded her in death May 2, 1962.

She was employed in the Housekeeping Department of the former Spencer Hospital for 12 years.  She attended the Blooming Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ethel) McNutt and Mrs. George (Hilda) Bollis of Vero Beach, FL; five step-sons, Frank W. of Blooming Valley, Edward of Streetsboro, OH, Andrew of Fort Collins, CO, John of Anderson, IN and Kenneth Chismar of Blooming Valley; seventeen step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one step-son, Raymond Chismar, one sister, and one brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
