Theresa R. “Terri” Morrison, 47 of Erie, formerly of Hadley, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2021 at UPMC Hamot with her loving family by her side. Terri was born in San Bernardino, CA on June 25th 1974 to Merle E. Morrison and the late Dolores M. (Briggs) Morrison. She was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School and went on to study nursing at Penn State and marine biology at Old Dominion. Terri enjoyed reading and writing, especially children’s books. She was currently working on self-publishing her own children’s books. She loved the ocean and had a deep appreciation for sea life. She enjoyed listening to music and playing board games with her friends and family. She enjoyed studying history, especially Medieval history and studying family genealogy and ancestry. She will be remembered as someone who was always happy and cheerful and a pleasure to be around. Terri is survived by her father, Merle of Hadley, her grandmother Dorothy Young of Clarks Mills, her fur-baby Stirling, her brothers Fred Morrison and wife Nancy of Corry and Thomas Morrison of Erie, niece Lillianna Morrison of Erie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Terri was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 4 pm – 7 pm on Wednesday, November 17. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11 am on Thursday, November 18, with Pastor Janet Pratt, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
