Thomas B. Cagle

Thomas B. Cagle, 61, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Friday, May 31, 1974, after being suddenly stricken ill.

Born in Nashville, TN, November 29, 1912, he was a son of Jasper A. and Elizabeth Brown Cagle.  He married Agnes Stem February 14, 1942.

He was employed for 37 years as a foreman at the car shop of the Erie Lackawanna Railway and was a member of Park Congregational Church.

Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. David (Kathy) Thayer and Mrs. Russell (Sharon) Hayek of Meadville; a son, Thomas A. Cagle of Meadville; three sisters, Elizabeth Cagle, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Watson and Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Robertson, all of Sharpsville; a brother, J. A. Cagle, Jr. of Sharpsville; and one granddaughter, Julie Thayer.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
