Thomas E. Ross

Thomas E. Ross, 66, of Conneaut Lake died at home surrounded by his family Sunday, June 9, 2019.  He was born April 1, 1953 in Cambridge, OH a son of Ernest and Mary Virginia Pippin Ross.  He married Debra L. Smith August 26, 1989 and she survives.

He owned and operated with his wife Debra, Ross Trucking of Conneaut Lake for over 25 years and previously had worked in the well drilling industry.  He loved all classic cars owning several over the years.  He enjoyed traveling and loved spending vacations near the water.  He also enjoyed watching old western, listening to 60’s music and collecting art.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Debra, of 30 years, include: three daughters, Stephanie Jones (Brian) of Meadville, Melissa Work of Cambridge, OH and Greta Oliver (Shawn) of Kimbolton, OH; a son, Tony Black (Sabrina) of Kimbolton, OH; nine grandchildren, a half-sister, Tammy Junge (Terry) of Napoleon, OH; an uncle, John (Fuzzy) Ross (Mary Ann) of Conneaut Lake; an aunt, Esther Abrams of Lore City, OH and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be Saturday, June 15th from 12-2 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.  The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Brumagin, officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
