Thomas A. “Tom” Williams, 61 of Jackson Center, Worth Township, passed away at his residence on November 25, 2018. Tom was born on November 24, 1957 in Meadville to Thomas L. and the late Loula P. Lewis Williams. He was a Certified Welding Inspector and most recently worked at Hall Industry in Ellwood City. He was a 1976 graduate of Saegertown High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Tom married his beloved wife, Leslie Smith Williams, on March 19, 1988, she survives at home. Tom loved to hunt and to be outdoors. In earlier years he enjoyed playing golf at Tanglewood Golf Course. He enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean and loved the beach and the ocean. He listened to his many records enjoying Fog Hat, Pink Floyd, and Aerosmith to name a few. He was a patient man who was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife and father, Tom is survived by his daughters, Melissa McCreary and husband Ryan of Edinboro, and Kelly Philson of Washington D.C., grandsons Aidan and Mason McCreary of Edinboro, brothers Troy Williams of WV and Dale Williams and wife Sara of Dayton, OH, and sister Mary Fairlamb of Greenville, SC. Tom was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
