Todd Alan McClay, 18, of Meadville, died July 1, 1990 due to an accidental drowning in Conneaut Lake.
Todd was born in Meadville, May 10, 1972, a son of Ralph H. and Norma J. Lengauer McClay.
He had a summer job as a groundskeeper at Pymatuning State Park. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Meadville.
A 1990 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School, he was a member of the Meadville Bulldog Hockey Team and this year's recipient of the Coaches Award; was a youth coach for the Crawford County Youth Hockey Assn.; was accepted to play in Hockey Night in Cleveland; and had planned to attend Kent State University in the fall to study accounting.
Survivors, in addition to his parents include a brother, Ralph H. McClain, II, at home; maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
