Traci A. Meece

Traci A. Vukovich Meece, 47, of Blooming Valley passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, September 19, 2013. She was born in Meadville June 8, 1966 a daughter of George and Audrey Nageotte Vukovich. She was a 1984 graduate of Saegertown High School and the Crawford County Vocational Technical School. She worked in the housekeeping department of Greenleaf Corp. and previously had worked as a machine operator at C. & J. Industries and for BP Oil Company. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, a good campfire and cutting wood with her father. She is survived by her companion Keith Sutton of Blooming Valley; her parents, George and Audrey Vukovich of Blooming Valley; her beloved Golden Retreiver, Shelby; two sisters, Vicki Bradley and her husband Jim of Saegertown and Lauri Woge of Blooming Valley; a brother, Joe Vukovich of Meadville; two nephews, Timothy Manross Jr. and Todd Manross and his fiance, Randi Jones; four nieces, Kristy Hester and her husband Tez, Jessica Vukovich and her companion, Mike Yenney, Nicole Shuwerk and her husband Dave and Ashley Steele; four great nieces, Hayley, Jayla, Layla and Erin; two great nephews, Brandon and Logan; three close friends, Misty Favre of Meadville, Heather Keas of Meadville and Mary Bickel of Blooming Valley and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George Vukovich and Julia Guerrieri; her maternal grandparents, Wendell and Mildred Nageotte and an aunt, Lois Nageotte. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
